Robert Langlotz was honored as Alaska’s Large Wastewater System Operator of the Year. His dedication, deep expertise, and commitment to excellence have set a standard not just for our utility, but for the entire state.
Manuel Muñoz received the prestigious Marty Lang Award, honoring a water professional who accomplishes the most with limited resources. Manuel, Water Treatment Plant Lab Tech II, has for the past decade, managed one of Alaska’s most complex sampling programs with unwavering precision, dedication, and leadership. From leading one of the state’s first and largest PFAS sampling efforts to ensuring seven straight years of 100% laboratory compliance for both Golden Heart Utilities and College Utilities, his work has been nothing short of exceptional. Manny’s knowledge, professionalism, and commitment exemplify the spirit of the Marty Lang Award.
